Round 1: PF International, 22 April

Reigning CIK-FIA European KF3 Champion George Russell took the early British Championship lead with a pair of victories in the season-opener at PFI.

Russell dominated the first Final on a slippery track after pulling away from Croatian Martin Kodric.
Race 1

The first race of the day saw Robert Collard in his BMW go from fifth on the grid to first place at the very first bend, to lead the race for five laps.

On the sixth lap the MG KX Momentum of Jason Plato was challenging Collard for the lead. Jason's MG was touched lightly by the chasing Mat Jackson’s Redstone Racing Ford Focus ST.
Race Officials have excluded Mat Jackson from the race results of the last race at Donington Park. Mat’s Redstone Racing Ford Focus ST was found to have exceeded the permitted turbo boost limits.

As we reported in our earlier article Scottish driver Gordon Shedden had complained about being forced off the track by Jason Plato on the last lap of the third race of the day.

Round three saw carnage ensue at Druids when, on lap four, Matt Jackson drifted wide at Paddock Hill bend which left a flood of oil into the braking zone at Druids. The carnage saw seven cars go off into the barrier and each other, forming a large car park, which immediately brought out the red flag.
