Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen were excluded from the results of the
Vodafone Rally of Portugal, which was the fourth round of the FIA World
Rally Championship.
 
The number two car was found, during post-event scrutineering to have a
clutch which did not comply with the Homolgation rules.

The Lotus International Rally team is set to make its race debut in April in the FIA European Rally Championship. In partnership with Italian team United Business, who won the title last year, the hotly anticipated Exige R-GT will be painted in Lotus’ iconic black and gold colour scheme.

Having entered 12 models over five continents, results and standings put Mitsubishi a clear winner ahead of it's nearest rival Ford with third spot going to Peugeot.

To win its top world ranking spot, Mitsubishi beat some stiff competition - 23 rally car manufacturers with a total of 132 car models.
